Terms of Use.
1. Who provides Weight Tracker
Weight Tracker is published by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"). These terms govern your use of the app. Questions: [email protected].
2. Use of the app
You may use Weight Tracker for its intended personal purpose - logging your weight, tracking a goal, reviewing your trend, and setting reminders. You may not use the app in a way that violates law, infringes a third-party right, attempts to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code beyond what local law expressly permits, or interferes with the app's normal operation.
3. No medical advice
Weight Tracker is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Your weight trend, BMI, goal progress, and any other figure the app shows are informational only. BMI in particular is a rough screening number that does not distinguish muscle from fat and may not be appropriate for athletes, children, pregnant people, or older adults. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical questions about your weight, diet, or health, and before making significant changes.
4. Your data and your responsibility
Your weight data lives on your phone (see Privacy Policy). You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for reviewing your own entries, and for any data you export and share. Because all data is local and there is no cloud backup, you are also responsible for keeping your own copy if it matters to you - exporting to CSV periodically is the simplest way. We cannot recover data lost when an app is uninstalled or a device is reset.
If you rely on reminders, keep your device and the app updated and check that notification permissions are granted; we cannot guarantee a reminder will fire if the operating system suppresses it (battery optimisation, focus modes, low-power mode, etc.).
5. Price
Weight Tracker is free. There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases. If this ever changes in a future version, it will be disclosed clearly before it applies, and existing on-device functionality you already use will not be put behind a new charge without notice.
6. Availability and changes
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features, content, and availability may change without prior notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will CodeEnsis Ltd., its directors, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Weight Tracker - including any loss of locally stored data. Where this limitation cannot be applied under your local law, our aggregate liability will not exceed ten US dollars.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Weight Tracker evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Effective" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you don't accept them, stop using the app and uninstall it.
