WEIGHT TRACKER

Privacy Policy.

Effective: June 8, 2026

The short version. Your weight history, goals, notes, BMI and reminder settings live only on your phone - they are never uploaded to CodeEnsis and never used to target ads. Weight Tracker is free and supported by ads, so it includes Google AdMob (advertising) and Google Firebase (anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting), which collect limited device and usage data as described below. In the EEA and UK you're asked for ad consent on first launch, and you can change or withdraw it any time in Settings → Ad privacy options.

1. Who we are

Weight Tracker is published by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"). This policy explains what the app stores, what limited data is collected by the advertising and analytics services it uses, and the rights you have. Questions or requests: [email protected].

2. What Weight Tracker stores on your device

The following data lives only on your phone, in the app's private storage. It is never uploaded to CodeEnsis, never shared with advertisers, and never used to personalise ads:

If you uninstall Weight Tracker, all of this is removed with the app. There is no server-side copy of your health data, because we never receive it.

3. What we never do with your health data

4. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Weight Tracker is free and supported by banner ads served through Google AdMob. To deliver ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process data such as your device's advertising ID, app and device information, approximate (IP-based) location, and ad-interaction events, and may use it to show personalised or non-personalised ads. Google processes this data as an independent party under the Google Privacy Policy and the Google AdMob policies.

Your consent (EEA / UK and similar regions). On first launch where it is required, the app shows a Google-certified consent message that lets you choose whether your data may be used for personalised advertising. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy options inside the app. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised.

Your weight and other health data are never shared with advertisers and are never used to target ads.

5. Analytics and crash reporting (Google Firebase)

To keep the app reliable and understand which features are used, Weight Tracker includes Google Firebase Analytics (aggregate usage events, such as screen opens) and Google Firebase Crashlytics (diagnostic reports if the app crashes). These collect limited technical data - for example device model, operating-system and app version, a non-identifying app-instance identifier, and crash stack traces. They do not receive your weight entries, goals, notes, or other health data. This data is processed by Google as our service provider under the Google Privacy Policy.

6. Network use

Your core data is handled on-device: logging weight, viewing your trend, calculating BMI, setting goals and scheduling reminders all work offline, and your weight data is never sent over the network. The app does use an internet connection for the advertising, analytics and crash-reporting described in sections 4 and 5, and to load ad content.

7. Exporting and sharing your data

You can export your full history to a CSV file from within the app. When you choose to share or save that file, your device's standard share sheet hands it to whatever destination you pick (email, a notes app, cloud storage, etc.). That action, and where the file goes, is entirely under your control - CodeEnsis is not involved and never receives a copy.

8. Reminders and notifications

If you enable the weigh-in reminder, Weight Tracker schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose. Reminders are generated on-device; there are no remote push servers and no message content leaves your phone. You can turn reminders off in the app, or revoke the notification permission at any time in your system settings.

9. Permissions Weight Tracker asks for

10. Children

Weight Tracker is a general-audience fitness tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Ads shown in the app are served for a general audience.

11. Your rights

12. Data retention

On-device data is retained until you delete it in the app, uninstall the app, or clear it from your device's app settings. CodeEnsis does not maintain a server-side profile of you. Data collected by Google for advertising, analytics and crash reporting is retained by Google under its own policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Weight Tracker evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Effective" date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
