Who you're agreeing with
These terms are between you and CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "us"), a company registered in Cyprus building Pillowbook. By using this website or the app, you agree to what's below.
Using Pillowbook
Pillowbook is intended for use by an adult parent or guardian on behalf of a child. Little Red Riding Hood is free to read and needs no account. The other eleven classic tales are unlocked by a one-time purchase, and stories about your own child require a subscription.
AI-generated content
This applies to stories about your own child, not to the twelve classic tales. Those are fixed text and fixed artwork, written and illustrated by us, and they do not change between readings.
A story about your own child is written automatically by an AI model and is not reviewed by a person before you read it. We apply safety guidelines to every story, but if something ever reads wrong for your child, use the regenerate option in the app or write to us - we take reports seriously.
Subscriptions
The annual subscription is billed through your Apple or Google account and renews automatically until cancelled. Payment is charged within 24 hours before the current period ends, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so cancel at least 24 hours before it renews. Manage or cancel it from your device's subscription settings: App Store subscriptions on iOS, Play Store subscriptions on Android. The classic tales collection is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
Acceptable use
Please don't use Pillowbook to generate or share content outside its intended purpose, or try to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the app or this website.
This website
The text, layout, images, and code on this site are owned by CodeEnsis Ltd. You're welcome to share links to it, but email us first if you want to quote or reuse copy, for example in press coverage. The same goes for the tale text and the artwork inside the app, which are ours and are licensed to you for reading, not for redistribution.
The email waitlist that used to live on this site is closed. If you signed up to it, see the privacy policy for what happens to that address.
Our liability
Pillowbook is provided "as is." We work to keep stories gentle and age-appropriate, but as with any AI-generated content, we can't guarantee every personalized story will be perfect every night. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeEnsis is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or this website.
Changes
We may update these terms as Pillowbook develops. Material changes will be summarized at the top with a new date. Continued use of the app or site after changes means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to CodeEnsis Ltd. (Cyprus).
