MYOTLAS
Terms of Use.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Myotlas mobile application ("Myotlas", "the app"), provided by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"), Χριστόδουλου Σώζου 2, EIFFEL TOWER, Floor 3, Flat/Office 301, 1096 Λευκωσία, Κύπρος. By installing, accessing or using Myotlas you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Myotlas on devices you own or control, for your own study and professional reference, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store from which you obtained it. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by CodeEnsis Ltd.
3. Educational use only, not medical advice
Myotlas describes muscles, their attachments and the movements they produce for educational purposes. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a medical device. Do not use it to make decisions about anyone's health, training load or therapy without a qualified professional. Anatomy varies between individuals, and a 3D model is a simplification.
4. Accuracy of the content
Attachment and action data are cross-checked against open sources (Wikipedia, OpenStax Anatomy and Physiology 2e, and Gray's Anatomy 1918), and only facts on which the sources agree are shown. Despite this, the content may contain errors or omissions. If you find one, use "Report an error" in the app or write to us.
5. Third-party content
The 3D models are based on BodyParts3D, © The Database Center for Life Science, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International; CodeEnsis Ltd. simplified, split and extended them, and built some muscles from anatomical data. Text derived from OpenStax is used under CC BY 4.0. The app uses open-source components subject to their own licenses, listed under Settings → Open-source licenses.
6. Myotlas Pro and payments
Part of the atlas is free. Full access to all muscles requires Myotlas Pro, offered as an auto-renewing yearly subscription or as a one-time lifetime purchase, billed through Google Play or the App Store. Price, currency and taxes are shown at the point of purchase.
Auto-renewal. A subscription renews automatically: you are charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel it in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or in your App Store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. The lifetime purchase does not renew. Refunds are handled under the policies of the store through which you purchased.
7. Your data
Your notes and saved muscles are stored on your device (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for your own backups; we are not liable for data lost due to device failure, loss, deletion or app removal.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, resell or misuse the app, extract its models or content for redistribution beyond what their licenses allow, remove proprietary or attribution notices, or use Myotlas in violation of applicable law.
9. Updates and availability
We may release updates, fixes and new content, and may change or discontinue features or the app itself. Continued availability of any specific feature is not guaranteed.
10. Intellectual property
Myotlas, including its source code, design, name and logo, is the property of CodeEnsis Ltd. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, except for the third-party content described in section 5.
11. No warranty
Myotlas is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CodeEnsis Ltd., its officers, employees and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any injury, loss or decision arising from reliance on Myotlas content.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid CodeEnsis for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) ten euro (€10). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under EU consumer protection law.
13. Privacy
Your use of Myotlas is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Nicosia, Cyprus shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
15. App store terms
If you obtained Myotlas through Google Play or the App Store, you also agree to that store's terms. Where they conflict with these Terms on platform-specific matters (for example refunds and in-app purchases), the store's terms govern. If you obtained Myotlas from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Myotlas evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Effective" date above. Continuing to use Myotlas after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
