Terms of Service.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CraftCost mobile application ("CraftCost", "the app"), provided by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"), Χριστόδουλου Σώζου 2, EIFFEL TOWER, Floor 3, Flat/Office 301, 1096 Λευκωσία, Κύπρος. By installing, accessing, or using CraftCost you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use CraftCost on devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store from which you obtained it. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by CodeEnsis Ltd.
3. Estimates, not professional advice
CraftCost helps you calculate costs and suggested prices. Its outputs - including recommended prices, margins, and marketplace-fee estimates - are informational tools, not financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for the prices you set and the business decisions you make. Verify figures before relying on them.
4. Marketplace fee presets
CraftCost includes editable fee presets for various marketplaces. These are convenience estimates only and may not reflect current rates. CraftCost and CodeEnsis are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Etsy, eBay, Amazon, or any other marketplace. Marketplace names are trademarks of their respective owners. Always confirm fees with the marketplace itself.
5. Your data and backups
Your data is stored locally on your device (see our Privacy Policy). You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We are not liable for data lost due to device failure, loss, deletion, or app removal.
6. CraftCost Pro and payments
Calculating prices is free. Some features - including removal of saved-item limits and price-sheet export - require CraftCost Pro, purchased and billed through Google Play. Pricing, currency, and applicable taxes are shown at the point of purchase. Where Pro is offered as a subscription, it renews according to the terms shown at purchase and can be managed or cancelled in your Google Play account. Refunds are handled under the policies of the app store through which you purchased.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, or misuse the app, remove proprietary notices, or use CraftCost in violation of applicable law.
8. Updates and availability
We may release updates, fixes, and new features, and may discontinue features or the app itself at our discretion. Uptime, continued availability, and backward compatibility of any specific feature are not guaranteed.
9. Intellectual property
CraftCost, including its source code, design, name, and logo, is the property of CodeEnsis Ltd. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The app uses third-party open-source components subject to their respective licenses.
10. No warranty
CraftCost is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We make no warranty that calculated prices, margins, or fee estimates are correct, current, or fit for any particular commercial purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall CodeEnsis Ltd., its officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, revenues, or business decisions made in reliance on CraftCost's output, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid CodeEnsis for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) ten euro (€10). Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under EU consumer protection law.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CodeEnsis Ltd. and its affiliates from any claim, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of CraftCost, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights or applicable law.
13. Privacy
Your use of CraftCost is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Nicosia, Cyprus shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
15. App store terms
If you obtained CraftCost through Google Play, you also agree to Google's terms. To the extent of any conflict between these Terms and platform terms, platform terms govern with respect to platform-specific obligations (for example, refunds and in-app purchases).
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as CraftCost evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Effective" date above. Continuing to use CraftCost after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
