Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
CraftCost is a mobile application published by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"), Χριστόδουλου Σώζου 2, EIFFEL TOWER, Floor 3, Flat/Office 301, 1096 Λευκωσία, Κύπρος. CraftCost is a pricing calculator for handmade sellers. This policy explains what data the app handles and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
2. Data stored on your device
Everything you enter - materials, products, recipes, costs, stock, sales, pricing settings, and preferences - is stored only on your device. It is not transmitted to us, and we have no ability to access it. We operate no backend server and no user accounts for CraftCost.
3. Data we collect about you
We do not collect personal information. CraftCost contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no crash-reporting that sends data to us. We do not build a profile of you and we do not sell data - there is nothing to sell.
4. Third-party services
To provide certain features, the app relies on the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google Play Billing & RevenueCat - used only if you purchase CraftCost Pro. To validate and restore your purchase, a pseudonymous app-user identifier and your purchase/receipt data are processed. We never receive your name, email, or payment card details; payment is handled entirely by Google Play. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts - the app may load fonts from Google's servers. As part of a standard web request, Google may receive technical metadata such as your IP address. No CraftCost business data is sent. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google Play In-App Review - if you choose to leave a review, it is handled by Google Play, not by us.
5. Sharing and exports
When you export a price sheet (PDF or image), the file is generated on your device. If you share it, your device's standard share sheet sends it to the app or contact you select. We are not involved in that transfer.
6. Permissions
CraftCost requests no sensitive device permissions. Exporting and sharing use your operating system's built-in share dialog, at your request.
7. Data retention and deletion
Because your data lives on your device, you control it. Deleting an item removes it immediately; uninstalling the app removes all CraftCost data from the device. Purchase records held by Google Play and RevenueCat are governed by their policies - to request deletion of purchase data, contact us and we will assist.
8. Children
CraftCost is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Legal basis (GDPR) and your rights
Because we hold no personal data on any server, most data-subject rights are satisfied directly on your device, where you can view, edit, and delete everything. For purchase data processed via Google Play and RevenueCat, the legal basis is performance of a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. You may contact us to exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or objection, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Security
Your data is protected by your device's own security (lock screen, encryption). We recommend keeping your device secured and backed up.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as CraftCost evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Effective" date above.
