TOXO

Terms of Use.

Effective: September 18, 2026

The short version. Toxo is an app for running an archery club, published by CodeEnsis Ltd and provided as-is. Anyone can create a club, but a club must be verified by us before it may hold anything about a member under 18. Your club owns its own data and is responsible for it; we store it for the club under the Data Processing Agreement. Notifications are best-effort. Toxo is free today and takes no money in the app.

1. Who provides Toxo

Toxo is published by CodeEnsis Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”), a company registered in Cyprus. These terms govern your use of the app on iOS and Android. Questions: [email protected].

2. Accounts

Using Toxo needs an account, created with an email address and password or through Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details to yourself and for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else has got into it.

You may delete your account from inside the app at any time. What that erases is described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Clubs, and who is responsible for them

Anyone may create a club in Toxo. Creating one makes you its owner, and with that comes responsibility for the people in it: what the club records about its members, on what lawful basis, and for how long, are the club’s decisions. The club is the controller of that data; we are its processor under the Data Processing Agreement, which the club owner accepts in the app.

Club owners and administrators undertake that they are authorised to act for the club they set up, that the details they give us for verification are accurate, and that they have whatever permission their own law requires before entering another person’s details — particularly a child’s.

4. Verification, and members under 18

A new club may add adult members, run a schedule and take attendance immediately. It may not add anyone under 18, or invite a parent or guardian, until we have verified it. Verification means the club tells us who it legally is and who to contact, and its owner accepts the DPA.

We decide whether to verify a club. We may refuse, and we say why so the club can correct what was wrong and ask again. We may withdraw verification if what a club told us turns out to be untrue, or if a club uses Toxo in a way these terms forbid. This is not a judgment about a club’s worth — it is the gate that stops a stranger’s sign-up from becoming a place to keep children’s records.

5. Use of the app

Use Toxo for running or taking part in an archery club. Do not use it to break the law, to infringe anyone’s rights, to harass another member, to reach data belonging to a club you are not in, to reverse-engineer or decompile the app beyond what your local law expressly allows, or to interfere with how the service runs. Do not enter another person’s details without their permission, or a child’s without their guardian’s.

We may suspend or close an account or a club that breaks these rules. Where we reasonably can, we say why first.

6. Notifications and reminders are best-effort

Toxo sends push notifications and emails when a training is cancelled, moved, or coming up. Delivery is out of our hands: battery optimisation, focus and do-not-disturb modes, low-power mode, force-stopping the app, a revoked permission, a spam filter, or a change in how an operating system behaves can all delay or suppress one.

Do not treat a notification as proof that everybody has been told. If a session has to be called off at short notice, the club should reach its members the way it always has as well.

7. Your club’s data

The club’s data is the club’s. We claim no ownership of it, and we do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train models. We store and process it on the club’s instructions, as set out in the DPA, and we delete it when the club asks.

8. Price

Toxo is currently free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no advertising. If that changes we will say so in the app before it affects you, and no charge will be made without your express agreement at the time.

9. Availability and changes

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features and availability may change without prior notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will CodeEnsis Ltd, its directors, employees, contractors or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Toxo — including a notification that did not arrive, a session someone attended or missed, or a record that turned out to be wrong. Where this limitation cannot be applied under your local law, our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or ten euros.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here limits our obligations to a club under the DPA.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Toxo evolves. Material changes will appear here with an updated “Effective” date above, and will be raised in the app rather than left for you to find. Continuing to use Toxo after a change means you accept it. If you do not, stop using the app and delete your account.
