TOXO
Delete your account.
1. From inside the app
This is the fastest route and the one we would rather you used, because it needs nobody to verify who you are — you are already signed in.
- Open Toxo and sign in.
- Tap More, then your own name at the top to open your profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Read what the screen lists as going and staying, then tap Delete my account and confirm.
If you own a club, that screen asks about the club before it asks about you. A club nobody else is in is deleted with your account. A club with other people in it is not, unless you say so — you can hand it to somebody else first under More → Club settings → Ownership.
2. By email
Write to [email protected] from the email address on the account, with Delete my account in the subject. We reply to confirm, and the deletion is done within 30 days of the request — usually the same week.
We will ask you to confirm from that address and nothing else. We will never ask you for your password.
3. What is deleted
- Your name, your profile and your sign-in.
- Your place in every club you belong to.
- Your replies to training sessions, and whether you were marked present.
- The expiry date of your medical certificate, if your club records one.
- Your date of birth, if one was entered.
- The consents given about you, and the record of who gave them.
- The device registrations that let us send you training reminders.
If you are a parent, you stop being your child’s parent on Toxo and the permissions you gave for them are withdrawn. Your child’s own record is not deleted with yours — they stay in their club, and their record is deleted by their club or by their remaining guardian.
4. What stays, and for how long
One thing survives: how many people attended sessions that have already happened. Those are counts, not names — once your record is gone the totals no longer say who was there, and nothing in them can be traced back to you. Clubs need them to show that a training took place.
Nothing else about you is kept. There is no grace period and no archive copy you could be restored from. Backups are rotated and any trace of you is gone from them within 30 days.
Where a club is required by law or by its federation to keep a record about you, that obligation is the club’s and it sits outside Toxo. Ask your club what it keeps on paper.
5. Deleting some of your data without deleting the account
Most of what Toxo holds about you is editable from your profile: your name, your date of birth and your medical certificate date can each be cleared on their own, without leaving your club. For anything else, email [email protected].
