Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
SunPlanner is provided by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"), Χριστόδουλου Σώζου 2, EIFFEL TOWER, Floor 3, Flat/Office 301, 1096 Λευκωσία, Κύπρος, which is the controller for the limited data described here.
2. Location
SunPlanner uses your approximate or precise location, only while the app is open, to compute where the sun and moon are for where you stand. The location is used on your phone and is not sent to us. The one exception is naming a place: see section 4. You can deny or revoke the permission at any time; the app then lets you enter a place by hand.
3. Camera and sensors
The AR view draws the sun path over the live camera picture. The picture is processed live on your phone and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Motion and compass sensors are used on the phone to know where it points.
4. Place search and place names
When you type an address or place name into search, it is sent to your platform's geocoding service to turn it into coordinates: on Android, Google's geocoder through the system; on iOS, Apple. When you save a place, its coordinates are sent the same way to suggest a name for it. Their privacy policies apply to these requests. We do not receive them, and the app keeps nothing beyond the place you save.
5. Data stored on your device
Saved places, notes and settings are stored in the app's local storage on your phone and are deleted when you uninstall the app. If you have turned on your device's own backup, the system may include them in your personal backup; we cannot read it.
6. Purchases
SunPlanner Pro is bought through Google Play (or Apple). The store processes the payment; the app receives only the purchase status needed to unlock Pro. We never see your payment details.
7. No analytics, no ads
SunPlanner contains no advertising, no analytics and no crash-reporting SDKs. We do not collect advertising identifiers, contacts or usage statistics, and we do not sell or share personal data.
8. Our website
The Terms and this Privacy Policy open in an in-app browser tab served by codeensis.com, whose hosting keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, time and page) for security for a limited period.
9. Support emails
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to answer you and keep the correspondence as long as needed for that.
10. Children
SunPlanner is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.
11. Legal basis (GDPR) and your rights
Processing on our side is limited to answering support requests (legitimate interest) and purchases (performance of a contract, handled by the store). Because we hold no personal data from the app on our servers, uninstalling the app removes everything it stored. You may contact us to exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and you may complain to the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection or your local supervisory authority.
12. Changes to this policy
If anything above changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
