Licence terms

The detail behind the offer: what is included, how a pilot works, who owns what, and what happens to student data.

What the school gets

The pilot

One group, one semester. Setup at half price, licence at the standard rate.

  • At the end you get a report on what the group actually did, and we decide together whether to continue.
  • No automatic renewal, and no penalty if you stop.
  • The pilot is paid. A free one has no owner on either side and then fails for reasons that have nothing to do with the product.

Ownership and data

  • Your teaching materials stay yours. We use them only to build your pack.
  • The app and the engine stay ours. The licence is non exclusive: we work with other schools, and you can leave whenever you want.
  • Student data is kept to a minimum: a name or a nickname and learning progress. Nothing is sold or shared, and there are no third party trackers. We sign a GDPR data processing agreement, and for students under 18 you collect parental consent the way you already do for your courses.
  • If you leave, we export every student's progress and delete the rest.
  • Support on working days. Fixes are included; anything built specially for your school is quoted separately.

from €2 500plus €80 a month

A student counts as active if they opened at least one session that month. When someone stops, they drop off the next invoice. For scale: €3 a month is roughly 1% of a course fee, or ten minutes of a teacher's time. Full terms: ownership, data and support.

How long it takes

The content pack is built for your school, and it is the slow part. Every phrase passes a quality check, and a native speaker teacher reads a sample before any student sees it. Count on six to eight weeks from a signed pilot to a group starting. We would rather say that than promise three: unchecked content in a language app is worse than no app.
