Area you actually paint
Openings come off the total, and the breakdown is shown line by line so you can check the arithmetic instead of trusting it.
Coats and primer
One, two or three coats, with primer counted as its own layer because it is bought separately.
Real can sizes
Litres or gallons, rounded up to the sizes actually on the shelf. A part-used can is still a can you paid for.
Your prices, your spread rates
Coverage presets for latex, oil and primer are editable, and you can add the brands you buy.
For painters
Save rooms, group them into a project and roll a whole house into one total. Share a single paint order across rooms so you are not buying four part-cans of the same colour. Export a quote with your business name and your own labour rate on it.
Free and Pro
Every calculation is free and there are no ads. The free tier saves five rooms. Pro removes that limit and unlocks multi-room projects, quote export and paint brand presets.
Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel in App Store settings or Google Play subscriptions.
Support
Email [email protected]. A human reads every message. Tell us the device, the app version from Settings, and what you expected to happen.
My rooms disappeared after reinstalling
Rooms and projects are stored on the device and are not synced to a server, so removing the app removes them. Restoring a purchase brings Pro back, not the data.
I bought Pro and it is not showing
Open Settings and tap Restore purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. If it still does not appear, email us with the store receipt.
The numbers differ from the paint tin
Tins quote spread rate under ideal conditions on a sealed surface. Set the coverage to whatever the tin says in Presets, and the calculator will follow it.
