PAGEVAULT
Terms of Service.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PageVault mobile application ("PageVault", "the app"), provided by Codeensis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"), Χριστόδουλου Σώζου 2, EIFFEL TOWER, Floor 3, Flat/Office 301, 1096 Λευκωσία, Κύπρος. By installing, accessing, or using PageVault you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. License to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use PageVault on devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store from which you obtained it (Apple App Store, Google Play, or other authorized distributor). All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Codeensis Ltd.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use PageVault to save, store, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or violates any applicable law in your jurisdiction.
- Circumvent paywalls, technological protection measures, or terms of service of any third-party website in a manner that violates applicable law.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble PageVault, except to the extent allowed by mandatory law.
- Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices in the app.
- Use the app to transmit malware, phishing pages, or any code intended to disrupt third-party systems.
4. Content you save — your responsibility
PageVault is a passive reading tool. When you provide a URL, the app fetches the page and stores it on your device. You are solely responsible for:
- The legality of the URLs you save and the content located at them.
- Compliance with the source website's terms of service, robots policies, and applicable copyright law.
- Any redistribution or sharing of saved content (for example, exporting and sending a PDF to another person).
Codeensis does not host, monitor, review, moderate, or endorse the content you save. We have no control over external websites or the content fetched from them. Inclusion of an article via the app's save feature is not an endorsement.
5. Third-party content and links
Saved articles may contain links to or references to third-party content. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, content, products, or services of any third-party site or resource. Your use of any external content is at your own risk.
6. Intellectual property
PageVault, including its source code, design, name, and logo, is the property of Codeensis Ltd. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The app uses third-party open-source components subject to their respective licenses, listed in the app under Settings → About → Open-source licenses.
Content you save remains the property of its respective rightsholders. Saving a page on your device does not grant you any additional rights to that content beyond those you already had.
7. Updates and availability
We may release updates, fixes, and changes to PageVault from time to time. We may also discontinue features or the app itself at our discretion. We will make reasonable efforts to provide an export path for your data before any major discontinuation, but uptime, continued availability, or backward compatibility of any specific feature is not guaranteed.
8. No warranty
PageVault is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, or that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not warrant that articles fetched will be permanently retrievable or that the app will preserve them indefinitely.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Codeensis Ltd., its officers, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) PageVault, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to PageVault shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Codeensis for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) ten euro (€10).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited (for example, liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or as required under EU consumer protection law).
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Codeensis Ltd. and its affiliates from and against any claim, loss, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of (a) content you save or share through PageVault, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third party's rights or applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using PageVault at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate or suspend your right to use PageVault if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will survive.
12. Privacy
Your use of PageVault is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data PageVault stores and what we do (and do not) collect.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Nicosia, Cyprus shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
14. App store terms
If you obtained PageVault through Apple's App Store or Google Play, you also agree to the terms of the respective platform. To the extent of any conflict between these Terms and platform terms, platform terms govern with respect to platform-specific obligations (for example, refunds, in-app purchases).
15. Apple App Store — additional terms
The following terms apply only when PageVault is downloaded from the Apple App Store and supplement these Terms. They are required by Apple Inc. ("Apple"). In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Apple EULA"), the Apple EULA controls solely with respect to use of PageVault on Apple devices.

- Maintenance and support. Codeensis is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for PageVault. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish maintenance or support services.
- Warranty. Codeensis is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of PageVault to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for PageVault to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to PageVault.
- Product claims. Codeensis, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to PageVault or your possession or use of it, including: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that PageVault fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation, including in connection with PageVault's use of any third-party software (e.g., HealthKit/HomeKit-style frameworks where applicable).
- Intellectual property rights. In the event of any third-party claim that PageVault or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Codeensis, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer name and address. Questions, complaints, or claims with respect to PageVault should be directed to: Codeensis Ltd., Χριστόδουλου Σώζου 2, EIFFEL TOWER, Floor 3, Flat/Office 301, 1096 Λευκωσία, Κύπρος, [email protected].
- Third-party beneficiary. You and Codeensis acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple's subsidiaries, are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to your license to use PageVault on Apple devices, and that, upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
