Astra · iPhone · 2026

The question you've been carrying.

Asked once, answered with character. Six distinct voices, a letter-quality reply on the whole page. No feed, no scroll, no streak nag.

TestFlight now. Public release: 2026.

An iPhone on midnight-blue silk, candle warm light from the right, gold flecks scattered around. The screen shows a Stoic reading: 'You already know. That is the part you find hardest to admit.'
What it's for

A voice for the question you keep meaning to ask — and the patience to read it slowly.

Six voices, one question

Most apps offer one tone. Astra offers six — each a different lens on the same question, so the answer that lands is the one you needed.

The six voices

Pick the voice that fits today.

Each voice was written as a character with its own habits of mind. The same question put to two of them gets two genuinely different answers — not two phrasings of one.

Stoic

Measured, undramatic. Names the thing and shows you what's in your control.

Useful at 7 a.m.

Jungian

Sees the shape under the question. What the conflict is really about.

For the loop you keep returning to.

Inner child

The wish the question is hiding. Speaks gently. Doesn't talk down.

When tenderness is the move.

Future self

The version of you who already lived through this. Hindsight without smugness.

For the decision you keep delaying.

Villain

The move you've been told not to make. Names the boundary you'd actually like to set.

When polite is the wrong answer.

Tarot

Image, archetype, suggestion. A frame to think in, not a fortune to obey.

When you want symbol over advice.

On honesty

"You already know. That is the part you find hardest to admit. The avoidance is not laziness — it is the small daily proof you give yourself that the thing is too big."
— Stoic, on "What am I avoiding that I already know I should do?"

How it works

A short ritual.
Five seconds to start.

i.

Pick a voice.

Six characters, each with its own habit of mind. Switch any morning. The choice locks for the conversation.

ii.

Ask one real thing.

The question you've been carrying. The one you haven't asked a friend. Whole sentences welcome.

iii.

Read it on the page.

The reply fills the page. No chat bubble shuffle. Sit with it. Follow up if you need to. Save what lands.

A reading from the shelf

Letter-quality, written to be read slowly.

A real saved reading from the app. Inner child, asked the question on a Tuesday morning:

"Why do I keep going back to the same fight?"

Because part of you is still trying to win it the way you wanted to win it when you were small. The fight is not about today. It is the old wish that someone would finally say: you were right to be hurt. Try saying that to yourself first. The argument may not need to happen at all once that sentence lands.

Made for

For people who don't want another chatbot.

Astra is for the question you carry around — the one a chat thread is too noisy to hold. It refuses to scroll. It hands you one voice and waits while you read.

  • Journalers between entries When the page is blank and the prompt has to come from somewhere. Six prompts, in different keys.
  • Therapy-curious Not a replacement. A second opinion at 7 a.m., before the day swallows the question.
  • Decision-stuck Ask the future-self. Then ask the villain. The two answers usually frame the real choice.
  • Chronic over-thinkers A page-long reply you can sit with, instead of a chat that wants the next message.
Questions

The short version.

Is this a chatbot?

No. It's a reading. You pick a voice, ask one real question, and read a letter-quality reply on the whole page. You can follow up — the same voice continues — but the format is the page, not a chat stream.

When is it out?

TestFlight now (internal). Public on the App Store in 2026. Leave your email and you'll hear once, on launch day. That's it.

Where do my questions go?

To generate a reply, the text of your question is sent to OpenAI (gpt-4o-mini) through our backend. Nothing else goes — no name, no email, no contacts, no location. Saved readings live only on your phone. Full privacy policy.

How many questions can I ask?

Three new conversations a day on the free tier, each up to ten follow-ups. Saved readings don't count. No subscription, no paywall in the launch version.

Is it on Android?

Not this product. Astra Oracle is iPhone-only. We publish a different app on Android under the same brand, with a different shape — see codeensis.com/astra if you're curious.

Be there on launch day

Ask once. Read it slowly.

One email when Astra opens on the App Store. Nothing else.
