Privacy Policy.

Effective: October 9, 2026

The short version. Your clients, their homes, your quotes, visits, prices and payments stay on your device. We have no servers and no accounts for Mopwise, so we cannot read any of it. Anonymous usage and crash statistics are off by default and are sent only if you switch them on in Settings; section 5 sets out exactly what they contain.

1. Who we are

Mopwise is a mobile application published by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"), Χριστόδουλου Σώζου 2, EIFFEL TOWER, Floor 3, Flat/Office 301, 1096 Λευκωσία, Κύπρος. The app helps house cleaners price a home, send the quote to their client and keep track of visits and payments. This policy explains what data the app handles and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

2. Data stored on your device

Everything you enter is stored only on your device: your rates, extras and preferences; your business name, phone, email, payment handles and logo; and your clients with their names, addresses, phone numbers, notes, homes, quotes, visits and payments. It is not transmitted to us and we have no ability to access it. We operate no backend server and no user accounts for Mopwise.

3. Your clients' details

The client details you keep in Mopwise are personal data of other people. Mopwise stores them only on your device so you can quote, schedule and get paid; we never receive them. You decide what you record and whom you share a quote or an export with, and you are responsible for handling your clients' details lawfully. Deleting a client in the app removes that client together with their quotes and visits.

4. Data we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or postal address. Mopwise does not read your device location or your contacts. The app contains no advertising SDK. We do not sell data; there is nothing to sell.

5. Anonymous statistics, off unless you switch them on

Mopwise can send anonymous usage and crash statistics through Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics. This is switched off by default. Nothing is sent until you turn on "Anonymous statistics" in Settings, and turning it off again stops collection at the source.

What is sent when it is on: anonymous event names and counters (for example "an estimate was started", "a room was added", "a quote was shared", "a visit was booked or marked paid", "the paywall was opened"), coarse choices such as the visit frequency, the payment method type, the measuring mode, language, theme and currency, the hourly rate picked during onboarding, plus a randomly generated app-install identifier, device model, OS version and app version. Crash reports additionally include a stack trace.
What is never sent: your clients' names, addresses, phone numbers and notes, your quotes and their prices, your visit dates and payments, your business details and your logo.

6. Purchases

If you buy Mopwise Pro, the purchase is processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play and validated through RevenueCat, which we use to check and restore entitlements. A random, pseudonymous app-user identifier and your receipt data are processed for that purpose. We never receive your name, email or payment card details; payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. See the RevenueCat Privacy Policy, the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

7. Quotes, exports and sharing

Quotes are generated as text or PDF on your device, and the client list export is a CSV file generated on your device. When you send or share one, your device's standard share sheet hands it to the app or contact you select (for example Messages, WhatsApp or email). We are not involved in that transfer and never receive a copy.

8. Permissions

Photos: only if you add your logo to quotes (a Pro feature), Mopwise asks to pick one image from your photo library. The image is copied into the app's storage on your device and printed on your quotes.
Notifications: only if you turn on visit reminders, Mopwise asks to send notifications. Reminders are scheduled on your device by your operating system; nothing goes through our servers.

Mopwise does not use the camera, microphone, contacts or location.

9. Links and network access

The app's fonts and icons are bundled inside the app. Apart from the statistics in section 5 (only when switched on) and the purchase checks in section 6, Mopwise makes network requests only when you deliberately open a link: this policy and the Terms open inside the app, and "Support" opens your email app.

10. In-app review

The app may occasionally ask, never before you have got value from it, whether you would like to leave a store review. The prompt and any review you write are handled by Apple or Google, not by us.

11. Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives on your device, you control it. Deleting a client, quote or visit removes it immediately; uninstalling the app removes all Mopwise data from the device. Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat are governed by their policies; to request deletion of purchase or statistics data, contact us and we will assist.

12. Children

Mopwise is a business tool for adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

13. Legal basis (GDPR) and your rights

We hold no personal data on any server, so most data-subject rights are satisfied directly on your device, where you can view, edit and delete everything. For purchase data processed via the app stores and RevenueCat, the legal basis is performance of a contract under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Anonymous statistics are sent only with your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time with the same switch in Settings. You may contact us to exercise rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

14. Security

Your data is protected by your device's own security (lock screen, encryption). Because it includes your clients' details, we recommend keeping your device locked and backed up.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Mopwise evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "Effective" date above.
