Delete your account.

The short version. Open the app, go to Settings and tap Delete account. It happens immediately and cannot be undone. If you no longer have the app, email [email protected] from the address you signed in with and we will do it for you within 30 days.

This page is for Recipe Box & Meal Planner, the Android app published by CodeEnsis Ltd. An account exists only if you signed in with Google to sync your data. If you always used the app without signing in, we hold nothing about you: everything lived on your device, and removing the app or clearing its data deletes it.

1. From inside the app

This is the fastest route, because you are already signed in and nobody needs to verify who you are.

Open Recipe Box & Meal Planner.
Go to Settings.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no grace period and nothing to undo.

2. By email, without the app

Write to [email protected] from the Google account email address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete account – Recipe Box & Meal Planner”. We reply to confirm, and the deletion is completed within 30 days of your request.

We will only ask you to confirm from that address. We will never ask for your password.

3. What is deleted

Permanently, with no recovery:

Your account in Firebase Authentication, including your Google email address, display name and user ID.
All your recipes stored in the cloud, including every recipe photo in cloud storage.
Your meal plans stored in the cloud.
Your shopping list items stored in the cloud.

4. What stays, and where

Data on your phone. Deleting the account removes the cloud copy only. The recipes, plans, list and photos already on your device stay there until you uninstall the app or clear its data in Android settings. Simply signing out also keeps your local data.

Usage and crash statistics. If the statistics switch in Settings was on, Google Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics hold usage events and crash reports tied to a random app-instance identifier, not to your account, so they cannot be matched to your deletion request. They expire on their own: crash reports after 90 days, usage events after at most 14 months. The app has no ads and no payments, so there are no advertising or billing records about you.
