A reading tool

Most contracts assume you won't read them.
CasePilot does it in your place.

What it does

An opinionated read, not a summary.

CasePilot doesn't just tell you what the contract says. It tells you what's standard, what's aggressive, and which clauses are likely to bite you.

Risk score with reasons.

Every contract gets a 0–10 rating with the exact clauses that pushed the number up or down. No black box, no vague vibes.

Plain-English red flags.

Auto-renewal traps, unilateral termination, hidden fees, broad liability waivers. Surfaced as short, readable warnings.

Ask the contract anything.

Tap a clause and start a conversation. "Can they actually do that?" "How do I get out of auto-renewal?" Answered, in context.

A page from a verdict

What a read looks like.

Not a wall of summary. A score, the clauses that earned it, and a clean trail back to the source.

Verdict SaaS subscription · 14 pages Read in 28s

7.2/10 Aggressive Three high-risk clauses, two medium
High · §12.4 Auto-renewal

Renews for the same length as the original term — silent until cancellation.

A 24-month term auto-renews into another 24 months. To cancel, you must notify at least 90 days before renewal in writing. Standard in vendor SaaS, aggressive for a small buyer.

High · §8.1 Liability cap

Their liability is capped at one month's fees.

If their service causes you damage, the most you can recover is one month of what you paid them. Unusually low for an enterprise SaaS contract.

Medium · §14.2 Governing law

Disputes go to Delaware courts only.

If you're not in the US, suing them means flying lawyers to Delaware. Common boilerplate, but worth knowing before you sign.

Questions

The short version.

Is CasePilot legal advice?

No. CasePilot is an AI-assisted reading tool, not a law firm. For high-stakes decisions, treat its output as a starting point and consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction.

What happens to my contracts?

They're encrypted in transit, processed on Google Cloud Functions on your behalf, and stored only against your account. We never sell or share contract content. You can delete a contract, or your whole account, at any time from Settings.

Which AI does the analysis?

CasePilot routes to leading large-language-model providers via a secure server-side proxy. Your document is never sent to any client-side AI SDK. We pin the prompts, log nothing model-side, and forbid the providers from training on your content.

Does it work in my country and language?

CasePilot reads English-language contracts today and is being expanded to additional languages. Risk reasoning is jurisdiction-aware where the document specifies governing law.
