My reminders aren’t firing.

This is almost always a system-level setting overriding the app. Walk through these in order:

How does the hydration multiplier work?

Water counts at 100% toward your daily goal. Other drinks count proportionally: coffee 80%, tea 90%, herbal tea 100%, juice 85%, milk 90%, soda 70%, sparkling water 100%. These reflect common tracking conventions used by other hydration apps; they are not medical guidance. To always count drinks at full volume, pick “Water” as the beverage type when creating a cup.

Where is my data stored? Can I export it?

Everything lives on your phone — there is no Water Tracker account and no cloud copy. If you opted into Apple Health / Health Connect sync, your drinks are also written to your device’s system Health store, where you can browse them in the Health app. Uninstalling Water Tracker removes everything on the app side. See the privacy policy for the full breakdown.

I bought Pro on iPhone — how do I unlock it on my iPad / new phone?

Settings → Restore purchase. As long as you’re signed in to the same Apple ID (or Google account on Android), the unlock comes back at no extra cost. There is no subscription and nothing to re-buy.

I want a refund.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google directly. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google: play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory. CodeEnsis doesn’t process refunds because we never see the payment.

Do you sync between iPhone and Android?

No. Water Tracker is intentionally offline-only — no account, no server. If you switch platforms, your history doesn’t carry over. We chose calm + private over multi-device sync.

How do I turn off the banner ad on the Stats tab?

Buying Water Tracker Pro (a one-time, no-subscription purchase) removes the banner everywhere. See Settings → Upgrade to Pro.

Notifications are still showing on a different device.

Reminders are scheduled locally on each device. If two devices have the app installed under the same account, both will fire reminders independently. Sign out / uninstall the device you don’t want notifications on.
