Terms of Use.

Effective: November 5, 2026

The short version. Temavo is a practice tool for clearer speech. It is not speech therapy or a medical service. Three exercises a day are free with no end date. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription; cancel it any time in your store account. Numbers in the app are estimates.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Temavo application ("Temavo", "the app"), provided by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"), Χριστόδουλου Σώζου 2, EIFFEL TOWER, Floor 3, Flat/Office 301, 1096 Λευκωσία, Κύπρος. By installing, accessing or using Temavo you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Temavo on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the app store from which you obtained it. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by CodeEnsis Ltd. Temavo is not intended for children under 13.

3. Free use and Temavo Premium

The free version includes three exercises a day from the first level of the program, with no end date, and shows your pace and filler-word count. Temavo Premium unlocks the whole program, unlimited exercises a day, all metrics and your history and trends.

Premium is offered as an auto-renewing yearly subscription with a free trial and as an auto-renewing monthly subscription. The price, currency, trial length and any taxes are shown on the purchase screen before you confirm, in your local currency as set by the store.

The purchase is processed by the store and managed through RevenueCat; we never see or handle your payment details. To restore Premium on another device, use the same store account and tap Restore purchases in the app. Refunds are handled by the store under its refund policies. If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, your statutory withdrawal and refund rights are unaffected by these Terms. We may change the price of a plan; a change applies to renewals only after the store has notified you where required.

4. Not speech therapy, not a medical service

Temavo is a practice tool. It is not speech therapy or a medical service, gives no medical advice and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any speech, voice, hearing or other condition. If you are concerned about your speech or voice, talk to a qualified professional. Stop if speaking causes you pain or strain.

5. Measurements are estimates

Pace, filler words, pauses and the share of words heard as written are estimates calculated from your phone's speech recognition and from the loudness of the recording. Speech recognition makes mistakes and often leaves out hesitation sounds. Accuracy differs by phone, language, accent, microphone and surroundings. Reference ranges for pace are a rough guide, not a standard. Do not rely on these numbers for any decision about your health, education or employment.

6. Your recordings and practice content

You are responsible for what you record. Record only your own voice, and only where you are allowed to. Recordings stay on your device (see our Privacy Policy). The app keeps the most recent 30 recordings and removes older audio files automatically; your numbers remain. We are not liable for data lost due to device failure, reset or app removal.

7. Updates and availability

We may release updates, fixes and new features, and may change or discontinue features or the app itself at our discretion. Speech recognition is provided by your phone's system and may change or be unavailable independently of us.

8. Intellectual property

Temavo, including its source code, original texts, images, name and logo, is the property of CodeEnsis Ltd. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Traditional tongue twisters are in the public domain. The app uses third-party open-source components subject to their respective licences.

9. No warranty

Temavo is provided "as is" and "as available", with all faults and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise any particular improvement in your speech.

If you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights that cannot be excluded by contract, for example the rights that apply in the EU and the UK when digital content does not conform to the contract. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CodeEnsis Ltd., its officers, employees or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or related to the app shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for Temavo Premium in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) ten euro (€10). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and your rights under mandatory consumer protection law.

11. Privacy

Your use of Temavo is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Nicosia, Cyprus shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of these Terms, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
