SWIPE SIEGE
Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
Swipe Siege is a mobile game published by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"), Χριστόδουλου Σώζου 2, EIFFEL TOWER, Floor 3, Flat/Office 301, 1096 Λευκωσία, Κύπρος. It is currently available on Google Play (package com.codeensis.nodeconquest). This policy explains what data the game handles and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
2. What stays on your phone
The following is stored only on your device and is not uploaded to us:
- Your game progress: levels completed, stars, coins, permanent upgrades bought in the Barracks and the state of the daily reward calendar.
- Your settings, including the game language.
- A file of your recent match replays (the level seed and the moves you made), kept so that matches can be replayed on your device.
We have no server for Swipe Siege and no copy of this data. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes all of it, and it cannot be restored.
3. What Swipe Siege does not collect
Swipe Siege has no accounts and no login, no chat and no user-generated content. It does not ask for your name, email address or phone number, and it does not access your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos. There are no in-app purchases, so no payment data is processed.
4. Notifications
Swipe Siege can show local notifications: a reminder that a daily reward is waiting, and reminders on the second, third and seventh day after you start playing. They are scheduled on your phone by the game itself; no push server is involved and nothing is sent to us to deliver them. The game asks for notification permission after your first win. You can refuse, or switch notifications off at any time in your device's system settings.
5. Advertising: Google AdMob
Swipe Siege is free and is funded by ads from Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). It shows two kinds of ads:
- Rewarded videos that you choose to watch, for example to double the coins from a level. They are always optional.
- Interstitial ads, full-screen ads shown between levels.
For ad requests AdMob receives your device's resettable advertising identifier, information about your device and the app (such as model, OS version, language and the ad unit), your IP address, from which an approximate location is derived, and your interactions with ads (such as views and taps). Google uses this to select, show and measure ads. AdMob does not receive your game progress. See how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. If you are there, Swipe Siege shows Google's consent form (Google User Messaging Platform, which implements the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework) before personalised ads are requested. Personalised ads are shown only if you consent; if you do not, AdMob may show limited, non-personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy choices button in the game's Settings.
Anywhere, you can limit ad personalisation or delete or reset your advertising ID in your device settings (on Android: Settings → Google → Ads; on iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
6. Analytics and crash reports
To understand how the game is played and to fix what breaks, Swipe Siege uses three services:
- Google Firebase Analytics receives app usage events (for example a level started or finished, screens opened), device information (such as model, OS version, language and app version) and an app instance ID. Ad-related consent signals for Firebase are set to "denied": Firebase is not used for advertising.
- Firebase Crashlytics receives crash reports: the stack trace, device model, OS version and the state of the app at the moment of the crash.
- GameAnalytics (GameAnalytics ApS, Denmark) receives gameplay analytics: progression events (levels started, completed or failed), design events (for example upgrades bought), ad events (for example an ad was shown or a rewarded video was watched), session data (start, end and length of play sessions), device information and a random user ID generated by the GameAnalytics SDK. See the GameAnalytics privacy policy.
None of these identifiers is linked to your name, email address or any account. For Google's services see the Google Privacy Policy and the Firebase Privacy and Security documentation.
7. Legal bases (GDPR)
- Personalised advertising: your consent given in Google's consent form (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time with the Privacy choices button in Settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before.
- Non-personalised advertising: our legitimate interest in funding a free game (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics and crash reports: our legitimate interest in keeping the game working, fixing crashes and understanding how it is played (Art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time by contacting us.
8. Your rights and deleting your data
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to us at the address in section 13. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in Cyprus that is the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
- On your phone: because there is no account, uninstalling Swipe Siege removes all game data stored on your device.
- Analytics and crash data: this data is tied to random identifiers, not to you. If you want it erased, email us and we will request deletion from the providers for your installation.
- Advertising: you can delete or reset your advertising ID in your device settings, so that earlier ad data can no longer be linked to your device.
9. How long data is kept
Data on your phone stays until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Analytics data and crash reports are kept by Firebase and GameAnalytics under their retention settings; advertising data is handled by Google under its policies. Support emails are kept as long as needed to answer them.
10. International transfers
CodeEnsis is established in Cyprus, EU. GameAnalytics ApS is established in Denmark, EU. Google AdMob, Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics process data in the United States and other countries. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, these transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses in the providers' data processing terms.
11. Children
Swipe Siege is intended for a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. Its ads are not configured as child-directed. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has used Swipe Siege and that data about them has been collected, contact us and we will request its deletion.
12. Changes to this policy
When Swipe Siege starts handling data differently, for example in the iOS version, we will update this page and the "Effective" date above.
