Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
Hidden Mitten is a seek-and-find picture game published by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"), a company registered in Cyprus. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with data.
2. We collect no personal information
The app does not collect, transmit, or store personal information about the child or the adult using it. Specifically, it does not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any contact details.
- Photos, camera or microphone input, contacts, or location.
- Advertising identifiers (IDFA / GAID) or any device fingerprint.
- Usage analytics, screen views, session data, or behavioural profiles.
3. No third-party SDKs, no advertising, no analytics
The app contains no advertising networks, no analytics services, no crash-reporting services, and no social-network integrations. No third party receives any data from the app. This is a deliberate design decision for a product used by young children.
4. What is stored on the device
The following is kept in the app's own local storage on the device and never leaves it:
- Which objects have been found in each scene, so a child can continue where they stopped.
- Sound, music, vibration and language preferences.
- Whether the full version has been purchased.
- A random identifier generated on the device and the date the app was first opened. These are used only inside the app and are never transmitted.
Uninstalling the app removes all of it. We perform no cloud backup.
5. Purchases
The app offers one optional non-consumable purchase that unlocks all scenes. There is no subscription. The transaction is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store payment details. The purchase screen is placed behind a parental gate, so a child cannot reach it unaided.
6. Children's privacy (COPPA, GDPR-K)
The app is directed to children. Because it collects no personal information whatsoever, there is nothing to obtain verifiable parental consent for under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) or Article 8 of the GDPR. No behavioural or contextual advertising is shown. No data is used to build a profile of the child.
7. Links out of the app
The app contains a small number of links for adults: these documents, and an email address for support. Every one of them sits behind a parental gate that requires solving a two-digit multiplication, which a preschool-aged child is not expected to pass.
8. Internet access
All artwork and game content ships inside the app. The app functions with no network connection. A connection is used only if an adult chooses to open one of the links above or to complete a store purchase.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes appear here with an updated "Effective" date. If the app ever starts collecting anything, this page will say so before that version ships.
