Terms of Use.
1. Who provides DailyDose
DailyDose is published by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"). These terms govern your use of the app on iOS and Android. Questions: [email protected].
2. Use of the app
You may use DailyDose for its intended personal purpose — recording the medicines you take, scheduling reminders, tracking your stock, and reviewing your own history. You may not use the app in a way that violates law, infringes a third-party right, attempts to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract source code beyond what local law expressly permits, or interferes with the app's normal operation.
3. No medical advice
DailyDose is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Reminder schedules, dose entries, adherence percentages, stock counts, and exported reports are informational records of what you entered. The app does not check drug interactions, validate dosages, or verify that a schedule is safe for you. Always follow the instructions given by your doctor or pharmacist, and talk to them before changing anything about your medication plan.
4. Reminders are best-effort
Dose reminders are delivered by your device's operating system. DailyDose asks for notification permission and, on Android 13 and newer, for permission to schedule exact alarms — but we cannot guarantee a reminder will fire. Battery optimisation, focus and do-not-disturb modes, low-power mode, force-stopping the app, revoked permissions, an unexpected reboot, or a change in operating system behaviour can all suppress or delay a notification.
Do not rely on DailyDose as your only safeguard for a medication that matters. You are responsible for taking your medicines and for checking your own entries, schedules, and permissions.
5. Your data
Your medication data lives on your device (see Privacy Policy). There is no account and no cloud sync, which means we cannot recover your history if you delete the app, reset the device, or lose it. If your records matter to you, export a PDF and keep it somewhere else.
6. Subscriptions and in-app purchases
DailyDose is free to try. An optional subscription unlocks unlimited medicines, 30 days of history and insights, PDF export, the home screen widget, and priority support. Plans and prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency, and may differ by country and over time.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before that period ends.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price shown for your plan.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store account settings (iOS) or Google Play subscriptions (Android). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. The paid features stay available until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
The transaction itself is handled by Apple or Google, and their terms govern payment, taxation, refunds, and any family-sharing or restore-purchases mechanics. To restore an earlier purchase on a new device or after re-installing, use Restore on the subscription screen while signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account that made the original purchase. Refund requests go to Apple or Google through your account on those platforms; CodeEnsis does not process refunds directly. Entitlement is verified through RevenueCat, which never receives medication data.
7. Availability and changes
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features, in-app content, integrations, prices for future periods, and availability may change without prior notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will CodeEnsis Ltd., its directors, employees, contractors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, DailyDose — including a missed, late, duplicated, or mistimed dose. Where this limitation cannot be applied under your local law, our aggregate liability will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or ten US dollars.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as DailyDose evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Effective" date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you don't accept them, stop using the app and uninstall it.
