DAILYDOSE SUPPORT
Help is one tap away.
Everything we know about DailyDose on one page. If something's missing, write to us - we reply within a business day.
Getting started
How do I add a medication?
Tap + Add on the home screen or open the Medicines tab and tap + Add. Walk through three steps: medicine details, schedule, and review. That's it - DailyDose handles the rest.
How do I mark a dose as taken?
On the home screen, tap Mark as Taken under the next dose card, or tap any scheduled dose card in "Today's Schedule." DailyDose decrements your stock and updates the week ring automatically.
What does "Snooze" do?
Snooze postpones the reminder. Pick 10, 20, 30 minutes, or an hour - DailyDose will alarm you again at that time. The default snooze can be changed in Settings → Preferences.
How do low-stock alerts work?
Each medicine has a "Remind when ≤" threshold you set at creation (default 5). When your stock drops to that number after marking a dose, DailyDose sends a notification so you can refill in time.
Privacy & data
Where is my medication data stored?
On your device. DailyDose does not sync to a cloud by default. Your medicines, schedules, logs, and notes stay on your phone.
Does DailyDose track me?
No tracking, no ad IDs, no third-party SDKs for advertising. There is one optional, opt-in toggle for anonymous crash reports and screen views (no medication content, no personal data) - it's off by default and can be changed any time in Settings → Privacy.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Data → Reset all data. Confirms once, deletes medicines, schedules, and logs. There is no cloud backup to restore from - it's permanent.
Can I export my history?
Yes. Settings → Data → Export PDF. You'll get a clean, doctor-ready report with every logged dose in the selected range. Share it from any system share sheet.
Troubleshooting
I'm not getting reminders.
Notifications may be disabled for DailyDose. On iOS: Settings → DailyDose → Notifications → Allow Notifications. On Android: Settings → Apps → DailyDose → Notifications.
On Android, also check battery optimization - DailyDose needs to be excluded from aggressive battery savers to fire exact alarms on time. Settings → Apps → DailyDose → Battery → Unrestricted.
Reminders are late or skipping.
Same cause as above - aggressive battery saver, Do Not Disturb, or Focus mode can delay scheduled notifications. DailyDose uses exact alarms where the OS allows, but the OS always has the final say.
Stock counter isn't decreasing.
Stock only decrements when you tap Mark as Taken. If you log a dose from the notification action, the counter updates the next time you open the app.
The app is in English but my phone isn't.
DailyDose currently ships in English. More languages are on the way. If yours is missing, drop us a line - it helps prioritize.
Account & billing
Is DailyDose free?
Yes. Free on both stores. You can track medications and set reminders without paying. An optional subscription unlocks unlimited medicines, 30 days of history, PDF export, home screen widget, and priority support.
Do I need an account?
No account. No login. Open the app - it works.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Manage or cancel from your store: iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions → DailyDose. Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → DailyDose. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
