DAILYDOSE
Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
DailyDose is a medication tracker published by CodeEnsis Ltd. ("we", "our", "us"). This policy explains what the DailyDose mobile application collects, what it does with that data, and the rights you have.
2. What data DailyDose stores - on your device
The following data lives in DailyDose's local storage on your phone. It is not transmitted to our servers:
- Medications you add (name, type, dosage, strength, color, notes).
- Schedules and reminder times you configure.
- Intake logs (what you marked taken, snoozed, or missed, and when).
- Stock counts and low-stock thresholds.
- App preferences (time format, default snooze, notification settings).
If you uninstall DailyDose, this data is removed with the app. There is no cloud backup performed by us.
3. What we do not collect
- No CodeEnsis account or login is created or required.
- No advertising identifiers. No third-party advertising SDKs.
- No health records are transmitted to CodeEnsis servers.
- No contacts, location history, microphone, or photo library access is required.
4. Optional, opt-in analytics & crash reporting
DailyDose includes optional, opt-in support for Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to help us fix bugs and improve the app. This is off by default and can be toggled any time in Settings → Privacy.
If you opt in, Firebase may collect limited, non-personal information such as app version, operating system version, device model, crash stack traces, and aggregated screen views. It does not receive your medication data, schedules, or intake logs.
Firebase is a service of Google LLC. Google's privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.
5. Subscriptions
If you purchase an optional DailyDose subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not see or store your payment information. Subscription entitlement is verified through RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous user identifier and your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive any medication data.
6. Permissions DailyDose asks for
- Notifications - to deliver dose reminders and alarms you schedule.
- Exact alarms (Android 13+) - to fire on-time reminders even under battery saving.
- Boot completed (Android) - to re-schedule your reminders after a device restart so they continue to fire.
You can revoke any permission at any time in your device's system settings.
7. Children
DailyDose is a general medication tracker. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
8. Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no CodeEnsis-side account to access, export, or delete. You can at any time:
- Export your medication history as a PDF from Settings → Data → Export PDF.
- Delete all medications, schedules, and logs from Settings → Data → Reset all data.
- Uninstall DailyDose to remove everything.
If you have opted in to analytics or crash reporting and wish to request deletion of associated Firebase records, contact us - we will coordinate with Google's data deletion process on your behalf.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as DailyDose evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated "Effective" date above. Continuing to use DailyDose after a change means you accept the updated policy.
